Twinkle Toes

The kids kept asking about Twinkle Toes and wondering if he would be able to find us in our new house and guess what??? He sure did!! The kids have had a blast waking up and having to look for him. Don't worry, he is a nice Elf and doesn't make messes for us to clean up. The only "mess" he made this year was TP the tree. They were able to find him in some funny places from the fridge, being captioned by Capt Hook, zip lining, decorating the tree with Candy Canes, bringing the kids stockings and hanging them all up, and just hiding out in the highest spots he could find.

Christmas Festivities

Like every year, we went to the Mesa Temple to see their Christmas lights. They have an amazing set up! They also have a big room set up with Nativity Scenes from all over the world. It was cool to see the difference in the different countries. And of course the kids loved being there with cousins and Gma Jo and Papa Lars.

And of course we had to decorate cookies so we had some to set out for Santa! Surprisingly, it wasn't as messy as I thought it was going to be! They all loved licking their fingers and of course tasting 1 or 2 cookies. Brentlee was excited to take some back to Grandma T's so she could leave some for Santa. 

And some times they got a little carried away with the sprinkles but I just let them do what they wanted and cleaned up after they were all done.

I had to run to the Harley shop to grab a couple Christmas gifts and while I was there they told me Santa would be there with milk and cookies in about an hour so we all went back to grab Reagan from her dance recital practice and came back to see Santa! I was quite impressed with how well all the kids did. I'm not sure if Santa had a little to drink before or if that's just how he normally is. The kids loved it though! 

Instead of a sleigh, he rode a motorcycle! Imagine that ;)

They all told them what they wanted and sat there and talked to him. Well he asked questions and had no idea what they said! 

Family Pictures

I was so happy that Austin said yes when I asked her to do our family pictures while she's here. I've been wanting her to take our family pictures for awhile and I'm so glad she was able to. I love how they turned out. And yes we went shopping and she helped pick out the colors and outfits :) Thanks again Austin!!

He was doubting that I could carry him and was cracking jokes. But hey guess what? I proved him wrong :)

Dance Recital

Reagan had her 3rd Dance Recital tonight and did really good! It's amazing to see how far she's came since she started about 1.5 years ago. She has been looking forward to her recital since Dance started in September.

Reagan was so happy that Brentlee was able to come watch her recital. Thanks for coming!!

10 months

I usually remember to post a picture on Instagram or Facebook and it helps me remember what he was doing at that age but I totally forgot this time! :( And apparently I didn't take many pictures...darn it!

Santa at Harley Davidson and he didn't cry! Yippee!

It doesn't happen very often so when he falls asleep in my arms I just sit there and soak it all in. It was glorious!!

he loves to swing! Especially when he's tired like right now

And I have a feeling that he will be walking before too long! Maybe Santa shouldn't bring him a walker for Christmas ;)

Pizza seems to be hard work...

I put him in the basket and he was happy and content for a good 20 minutes just playing in there. It was great! 

This is Bryson when he was 1 and I think Carson is looking a lot like him!
