Halloween

So I have this set to post on Halloween but I'm definitely not typing this on Halloween. It may or may not be January 2014.....oops!

I really wanted all the kids to match this year and I couldn't decide between Toy Story characters and Superheros. I made the decision to have them be Superheros. Reagan was Super Girl, Bryson was Ironman and Carson was the Hulk. It was fun to have them match and they loved their costumes!

Our Ward had a Halloween Party and the kids had a blast! We had chili for dinner, all sorts of games in gym and Trunk-or-treating outside. They came home with way more candy than needed! Anybody want some? ;)
Bryson won the cupcake walk and he picked this tiny little thing and didn't even eat it all!

He was so tired

Trunk-or-Treat

Reagan was in love with this bird(Macaw).

They had fun and mommy and daddy were wore out!

Can't forget about pumpkin carving!! The kids were very excited to care a pumpkin but said that Daddy had to get all the yucky guts out. Eventually they were both playing in the guts and loving it! I let Brian and the kids clean it out and then I carved the face. Reagan and Bryson really wanted to draw circles all over the pumpkin for some reason and were very excited to see it finished!

Carson enjoyed tasting whatever was dropped on the floor

Bryson helped pick out all the seeds so we could roast them(which we never ended up doing!)

All done!

Reagan's school had a Halloween Party and Costume Parade. It was fun to watch the Parade and see all the different costumes. Bryson would point out every superhero costume that he saw. And there were a lot! At the Halloween Party they had a Haunted House. Brian took the kids through and the didn't care for it too much. They are like their momma and don't like scary things! :)

Reagan wanted to be Cinderella today.

Brian offered to stay home and pass out candy with Carson while I took Reagan and Bryson trick or treating. We went over to Taylor Ranch in hopes we would see people we know but we only saw a couple people from a distance. It was quite nice just being us 3 and we made it quick! We also had to run by GGs so the kids could get their special treats from her.
They were so excited to get glow sticks!

Carson enjoyed their candy stash too!

Happy 5th Birthday, Reagan!!

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR LITTLE PRINCESS, REAGAN!!

It's hard to think that 5 years ago we became parents to this sweet little girl. She was due Oct 16 and decided to make her appearance on Oct 22 at 11:50 pm. It's fun to see how much she has changed!

And of course we celebrated with Dunkin Donuts for breakfast! And Reagan got to pick dinner so we had her favorite Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, yummy!! Reagan started Kindergarten this year and is loving it! She is one of the top kids in her class and is the youngest. She is still doing ballet and still loving it! She keeps  busy with homework, loves to draw, dance, helping clean and of course has to pick on Bryson ;). We can't wait to see what this next year has in store for her and our family!!

State Fair

While mom was here, we decided to go to the Arizona State Fair. We have lived down here for 3 years and this was our 1st time. The kids were so excited when we drove up and they could see all the rides. We all have a great time walking around, going on rides, eating fatty food and just enjoying being outside! It was much warmer than we expected so we had some rosy cheeks by the end but no one was sun-burnt! We will definitely go back!

Birthday Party

We decided to have a combined party this year for Reagan and Bryson. Their birthdays are 10 days apart so it worked out great! My mom flew in to surprise the kids for their party. They were so excited to see her! I wanted to do their party at a bounce house place but after seeing how much it would cost, we decided to just do it at the park and rent a bounce house(less than half the cost of a bounce house!). Reagan wanted a rainbow Aerial party and Bryson wanted Ironman so it was interesting trying to incorporate both so we just did a boy table and girl table and it worked out great! The kids had a great time! Thanks to everyone that came and for the awesome gifts!!

the kids loved the bounce house!

cute kids! Thanks again everyone!

Bryson wanted a blue cake

Reagan's rainbow cake! It was an adventure to make. Thanks Mom for helping!!

Utah Part 2

On Thursday we woke up to everything wet and a little rain! We decided to brave the wet and cold and head up to a waterfall and check it out. It was cold and the water was freezing! After we headed over to BYU to check out their Dinosaur Museum and the football Stadium. We headed to my Aunt Karen Ann and Uncle Garys' house for dinner and to hang out. The kids had a blast playing with their dog Smellie Ellie. Karen Ann put on the Croods for us to watch so we had a late night with them. It was a lot of fun!

love these colors!

She found her school :)

forgot the kids painted the pumpkins they got!

Friday we spent the day up in Salt Lake. We rode the train from Prove to Salt Lake. We walked around a mall and then walked around Temple Square. That night we headed to check out the Payson Temple that is being built and then hit up the Red Barn for some delicious ice cream!!

the mall had these little steams all through out it with little fish. Bryson loved it!

Saturday was BRYSON'S BIRTHDAY!!!  Brian and I got up early(well at like 8) and went to the Bountiful Temple while Scott and Steph watched our monsters(Thanks!). It was great to be back there again! Once we got back, it was time to get ready for Bryson's birthday party! It was fun to have a little party with Brian's family that we don't see too often. Thanks for coming and for the gifts! Brian went to the BYU football game with my Uncle so the rest of us headed to the park to play and have pizza. It was a bit cold but the kids loved it!

someone couldn't stop laughing....

Sunday was our LONG drive home! We left about 9 and make it home before 8. I'd say that was pretty good timing especially because we were at a stand still for at least 40 min. It was a great trip but it's always nice to be back in our own house and beds!

lunch time!

my favorite!

yup traffic was all the way around the mountain...never figured out what was holding up traffic either
