Dance Recital

Reagan loves Dance and is always so excited for her Recitals. Aunt Katie usually does her hair but she wasn't able to this time so I had to do it. I was a bit nervous how it would turn out but I think it turned out cute :) I am still hoping Aunt Katie is here for the next one though. After the recital, GG treated us to some Dairy Queen. It was delicious and we love it. Thanks GG!

This girl and her vanilla ice cream. All she will get if we go out for ice cream.

Reagan's 1st tooth gone and Thanksgiving

Reagan lost her 1st tooth! Wahoo! It was time for this tooth to go. Her adult tooth was already growing behind it. We gave Daddy the privilege of yanking out the tooth. Reagan was a bit scared but was so happy to see it once it was out.

Just ignore her ripped hands. She loves the monkey bars at school and if we don't tell her she needs to take a break from them, she rips her hands and is in pain for a few days.

She likes being toothless! Here's to many more teeth coming out!

For Thanksgiving, Grandma and Grandpa Christensen came down for a visit. It was great to spend some time with them. While they were here, Brian's brother Mark came to AZ and blessed his little baby boy.

yes this is how almost every picture turns out of the 3 of them

Funny story. We all went out to eat and as we were leaving I realized Carson was poopy so I went to change him and come to find out he had poop all over his shirt and shorts. Good thing Grandma came prepared with a coat so we could walk around the mall a little bit.

At the Disney Store he wanted the coat off so he could run around. HAHA

Always have to find some jobs for Grandpa to do while he is here :)

Thanks for a great visit! Can't wait until next time!

Sports

The kids really enjoy playing sports. Well Reagan really likes and Bryson has his days where he likes it. Hoping it gets better! Early fall the kids played soccer and did great. I think it helped that Bryson's coach was from church so he knew her and her little girl. They just started playing t-ball and are really excited for the season. Brian gets to be Bryson's coach so hopefully he will play most games.

Reagan did a lot better than we expected with coach pitch baseball. She was excited she didn't have to use the Tee.

Halloween

This year I decided to let the kids pick out what they wanted to be. I tried to come up with something to have them all match but they couldn't decide on anything. Reagan decided on a Candy Corn Witch, Bryson was Batman and Carson was a puppy. Well Carson decided he didn't want to wear this costume for anything.

We had a fabulous Ward party! And I forgot to take pictures. Oops! Or maybe I was too busy chasing Carson around. I am sure that was it!

Kids are always excited to carve a pumpkin but once it is time to get dirty, they start to freak out a little bit so daddy does most of the dirty work. And I got the job of carving the picture. They picked out the picture.

Reagan had a Halloween parade at school followed by a party in her classroom. We were able to watch the parade and then go help out in her class. She has a great teacher and great friends in her class.

Off we go Trick or Treating! Daddy stayed home to pass out candy. I think next year we may leave a bowl out front so he can join in on the fun.  Bryson and Reagan really liked it this year! But if there was a scary house, they would pass it up. Carson took his bucket and enjoyed the candy he got.

It is always fun to run into friends. Reagan and Paislee.

Birthday Girl!

Happy 6th Birthday to Reagan Skye!!

This little girl is one hard working girl! She absolutely loves school and is a very good listener and learner. And I am pretty sure the boys are so spoiled with such a great big sister. Even if Bryson is being mean, she is still willing to help him. She is a great blessing to have in our family and we love having her around. Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you!

Birthday Festivities

I love having Reagan and Bryson with birthdays so close together! It is fun to have their parties together. Growing up, I can remember several combined birthday parties with my brother Jake and how much fun it was with so many friends around. Hope my kids let me keep this up for a few more years!

Reagan has been obsessed with Frozen for awhile now and really wanted a Frozen cake. Bryson on the other hand, either wanted Ninja Turtles or Super Heroes. I decided to go to Target and get them to make us some cupcakes so we got Frozen and Ninja Turtles. The kids loved them!

And I love living in Arizona and being able to have their party at the park! It is so nice not to have everyone at my house and the kids are entertained for hours. This year, they completed the splash pad at the park and the kids loved going back and forth between the park and splash pad.

So glad Grandma Jo, Uncle Gary and Aunt Ellie were able to be in town for the party!

Thanks to everyone who came! And thanks for all the gifts!

Out of Africa Park

I have seen signs for the Out of Africa Park for several years now and we were finally able to go! We found out that if you bring proof, kids get in free the month of their Birthday so we took up that offer. It's about 2 hours North of us but the kids had a blast on the drive looking at several different things. We weren't sure what to expect when we got there but the kids loved every part of it! I think their favorite part was watching the Tiger Splash show. I have to agree though, it was pretty cool to watch all these guys in a cage with a tiger playing with it.

We went on a train ride and the driver got out to feed every animal and interact with them. It was really cool! And we got to hear the Hyena's laugh.

We can't wait to go back next October!
