Onward to see Daddy!

So you would think traveling with 3 little kids would put you behind schedule right? Nope, wrong! My sister was the one to put us off schedule! Ha! We had planned to leave pretty early in the morning(we packed the cars the night before) but we were a couple hours behind because someone didn't want to get up. Oh well. What is another 2 hours to our 23 hour drive? ;) We drove all the way to Amarillo Texas and then decided to get a hotel and get some rest. The kids were able to run around and go swim in the hotel pool before bed time.

Why is it that all the kids can't sleep at the same time?! It's okay though, Carson had a bag of pirates booty to keep him happy.

This morning when we woke up, Bryson noticed that Aunt Katie, Gma Jo and Reagan were all matching so he asked me to wear a grey shirt so we could match. It was so cute! I was glad I had a clean grey shirt!

matchy matchy!

Little stud muffin. He was a bit obsessed with these classes this trip.

Goofing off in Payson, AZ trying to burn off some energy.

FEELS GREAT TO BE HOME!! We had a great summer vacation but glad to be home and be with Daddy again. And to be out of the humidity :)

North to Missouri and Kansas!

Grandma Jo is driving back to AZ with us and on our way back, we are heading to Missouri to see my Dad and Gayle and to pick up my sister Kaitlyn so she can drive her car back with us. It was about an 8 hour drive and that felt short compared all the driving/flying we have been doing! And of course with little kids, you have to stop a few times. The kids were great on the trek up.

My biker boy

We made it! We actually got in the night before but it was late so no pictures were taken.

Out to eat at Golden Corral.

Like I said before, my biker boy. The motorcycle he is standing in front of, that is what he said he wanted for Christmas. High hopes buddy!

Since we were so close to Kansas, we had to make a day to drive over and see my Aunt and Uncle in Olathe. I haven't been back there since I was about Bryson's age(not quite sure). They are still living in the same house they have lived in for many many years. It was fun to see whats the same and what has changed. It was a bit chilly outside but that didn't stop the kids from swimming in their pool. And of course the kids were in love with the dogs. We met up with my cousin Dan and his girlfriend Paige and we all went out to eat. I think I caught the sickness the kids had at my moms house because I was very nauseous and didn't eat a single thing. Next time we go visit, we will have to go eat again because everyone raved about how good the fried chicken was!

Kansas City Temple

Swimming! I am pretty sure their favorite part was the diving board. Hopefully when we make it back again, it won't be as cold out.

This is the closest I got to a Kansas sign. Ha!

Bryson was excited to see the diving board but was a little scared to jump off. Good thing Katie was there to threaten him ;)

Back at PawPaw and Granny's, they have some horses that live around the corner to them so the kids wanted to take a walk and see them. These kids love animals!

PawPaw and Granny bought the kids bubble guns. They loved them!

And now, we head home to Daddy!!

Fun around Grandma and Grandpa's

Here are just a few pictures from hanging around Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kids were always having fun whether we were at home or off doing something.

Grizzly was fed very well while we were there

All the kids caught the flu and this was my meal for a couple days! I am just glad they got sick before we headed back home.

Caught the thief!

Making bullets with Papa!

If you can't tell, these 2 were best buds!

4th of July and Water Park

For 4th of July, we headed over to Brian and Mary's house, who are friends of my parents from Alaska. They have a stream that runs through the back yard and the kids loved to feed all the fish. We played badminton and croquet, just ran around in the grass, had a fabulous BBQ and watched the Fireworks. The Fireworks weren't the kids favorite part but they started to enjoy them towards the end.

They had some damage from a storm and had a frog living in the lining of the pool. The kids sat there and watched the frog for a good 10 min.

Can you tell he enjoyed dinner?! lol

Our little firecrackers!

My mom found out about a water park about an hour away and we decided to take the kids there. Point Mallard Water Park. The kids had a blast! What I thought was fun was that you could go play at the water park or walk down to the Tennessee River and take a swim. The river was much warmer than the water park. We can't wait to go back!

Bryson says he will never go back in the wave pool. I think the waves were a little too big for him. He also said he won't ever go back on the big water slide(you rode down in a double tube) because it hurt his butt. But he still had fun!

Back Down South

We all flew together to Georgia and my mom was there to pick us up. Brian actually headed back to AZ once we got all of our luggage. It was sad to see him go but we will see him in a couple weeks! We didn't get into ATL until almost 4pm so we decided to stay the night before heading back to AL the next day. It was nice to let the kids run around after our long flights before getting them back in the car for a few more hours.

And of course we had to find a Georgia sign!

Since we were in ATL, we decided to look up the Atlanta Temple and go see it. It has been fun to see so many Temples on our trip! Just by looking at the outside, I would say Atlanta is one of the smaller Temples. But very gorgeous grounds, like always!

It has been so nice out so we decided to take the kids to the splash pad at the mall near by. This was at the 1st time they have been to a splash pad. At first it took them a little bit to get use to it but after a few minutes, they loved it! We will definitely be coming back here again!

Here are a few pictures of just hanging around the house having fun.

Goofballs out back

Blueberry picking at a Berry Farm. Kids loved it!

Carson was our blueberry tester :)

The kids picked for 2 hours straight without any complaining!

Swimming at Grandma Jo's subdivision pool. Brr was that was cold!

Lunch at the pool
