Halloween

This year I decided to let the kids pick out what they wanted to be. I tried to come up with something to have them all match but they couldn't decide on anything. Reagan decided on a Candy Corn Witch, Bryson was Batman and Carson was a puppy. Well Carson decided he didn't want to wear this costume for anything.

We had a fabulous Ward party! And I forgot to take pictures. Oops! Or maybe I was too busy chasing Carson around. I am sure that was it!

Kids are always excited to carve a pumpkin but once it is time to get dirty, they start to freak out a little bit so daddy does most of the dirty work. And I got the job of carving the picture. They picked out the picture.

Reagan had a Halloween parade at school followed by a party in her classroom. We were able to watch the parade and then go help out in her class. She has a great teacher and great friends in her class.

Off we go Trick or Treating! Daddy stayed home to pass out candy. I think next year we may leave a bowl out front so he can join in on the fun.  Bryson and Reagan really liked it this year! But if there was a scary house, they would pass it up. Carson took his bucket and enjoyed the candy he got.

It is always fun to run into friends. Reagan and Paislee.

Birthday Girl!

Happy 6th Birthday to Reagan Skye!!

This little girl is one hard working girl! She absolutely loves school and is a very good listener and learner. And I am pretty sure the boys are so spoiled with such a great big sister. Even if Bryson is being mean, she is still willing to help him. She is a great blessing to have in our family and we love having her around. Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you!

Birthday Festivities

I love having Reagan and Bryson with birthdays so close together! It is fun to have their parties together. Growing up, I can remember several combined birthday parties with my brother Jake and how much fun it was with so many friends around. Hope my kids let me keep this up for a few more years!

Reagan has been obsessed with Frozen for awhile now and really wanted a Frozen cake. Bryson on the other hand, either wanted Ninja Turtles or Super Heroes. I decided to go to Target and get them to make us some cupcakes so we got Frozen and Ninja Turtles. The kids loved them!

And I love living in Arizona and being able to have their party at the park! It is so nice not to have everyone at my house and the kids are entertained for hours. This year, they completed the splash pad at the park and the kids loved going back and forth between the park and splash pad.

So glad Grandma Jo, Uncle Gary and Aunt Ellie were able to be in town for the party!

Thanks to everyone who came! And thanks for all the gifts!

Out of Africa Park

I have seen signs for the Out of Africa Park for several years now and we were finally able to go! We found out that if you bring proof, kids get in free the month of their Birthday so we took up that offer. It's about 2 hours North of us but the kids had a blast on the drive looking at several different things. We weren't sure what to expect when we got there but the kids loved every part of it! I think their favorite part was watching the Tiger Splash show. I have to agree though, it was pretty cool to watch all these guys in a cage with a tiger playing with it.

We went on a train ride and the driver got out to feed every animal and interact with them. It was really cool! And we got to hear the Hyena's laugh.

We can't wait to go back next October!
